My Mission

I used to say, "I'm on a mission to create positive change in the world, starting with becoming the change I want to see." That, although a noble goal, didn't seem to be specific enough in my opinion. So, after some deep introspection and clarification, I've reassessed who I am, what I want to accomplish, and how I plan to do so. I'll start with who I am.

I am a Neurodivergent Entrepreneur. It took me years before I could say that out loud. I've been diagnosed with my neurodevelopmental condition for over 10 years, and it hasn't been until recently that I've been ready to speak publicly about this. I used to think there was a common stigma associated with my condition and therefore, I was embarrassed and attempted to hide it. I felt if people knew, they'd think I was inferior and would not want to do business with me. Thankfully, I've been able to overcome my fears, and education is the key.

Neurodivergent people are those with neurodevelopmental conditions that cause them to experience life very differently than people without these conditions do, often resulting in difficulties and complications. Some of these conditions can be Autism, Asperger's, Tourette's, ADHD, etc. Life can be very challenging for us neurodivergent people, especially when our condition disrupts our daily activities or responsibilities. However, under the right circumstances/accommodations, we are capable of so much more than one can imagine. All that being said, here is what I want to accomplish, and how.

My new, refocused mission is twofold.

  1. Help other Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs (and aspiring Entrepreneurs) learn ways to overcome the challenges their condition presents, allowing them to accomplish their business aspirations.
  2. Help educate the world on how neurodivergent people can positively contribute to society if given opportunity, accommodations, and understanding.

I plan to accomplish this mission by creating digital content that I'll present through various online channels, including blogs, videos, educational resources, and groups/communities.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my mission. I look forward to sharing my journey with you. Please follow my progress on social media and share my content with anyone who might benefit.
